When it comes to the new Dragon Age: Inquisition, the game provides players with a wide range of characters to choose from. The player can pick up a character from the main storyline and also select from a wide variety of different multiplayer options. While it may be a great game for gamers who enjoy taking the role of a hero, there are plenty of other reasons why this title is worth a look.

Characters

Dragon Age: Inquisition features a number of characters, each with their own characteristics and preferences. Some are heterosexual, while others are gay, bisexual, and pansexual. BioWare chose to emphasize diversity in its cast. Many of the characters appear in the previous two Dragon Age titles, while others are merely NPCs in the game.

Vivienne, a Circle Mage, is a new character in Inquisition. She will assist the Inquisitor in combat with Calpernia. Her specialization is “Knight-Enchanter” which gives mages an ability to melee attacks. It also allows mages to gain buffs to magical barriers.

Blackwall is an optional companion. He’s a powerful tank, and he’s almost a must-have for most parties. However, his presence in the game may cause some to question whether he’s romantically compatible with a female Inquisitor.

Solas is an elven apostate Mage. His knowledge of the Fade and the ability to influence the minds of others are unique. If you’re a fan of elven mages, this is a good companion to have.

Lace Harding is an Inquisitor’s lead scout. Her mother named her Lace, and she grew up outside of Redcliffe. During her youth, she helped an elderly neighbor tend sheep.

Belinda is a noble from Starkhaven. She is loyal to the Chantry. However, she stayed with the newly formed Inquisition when Justinia V was killed. Before she left, she was a member of the Templars, but she renounced her vows.

Sera is an elven archer. She is anti-establishment, but she’s a great defier of authority. When she’s not interfering with the Inquisition, she’s part of the Friends of Red Jenny rogue group.

Hawke is an ally of the Inquisition. During his time in Orlais, he investigates the Grey Wardens. He has strong feelings against blood magic. But he doesn’t necessarily hate the Wardens.

The Inquisition cast has received positive reviews from gaming magazines. BioWare has made an effort to encourage players to explore, and each location is larger than in the last Dragon Age title.

There are three bisexual characters in the Inquisition cast. Two of them are homosexual. Another, Iron Bull, is a Qunari warrior.

Multiplayer mode

In Dragon Age: Inquisition, multiplayer is not just a glorified PvP. Instead, it’s an immersive, action-packed dungeon-crawling experience that lets you work with up to four friends to complete challenging quests. And the results aren’t just gold and XP.

For starters, each player controls a different character and class. Each class has its own set of abilities. You can level up your character by completing missions and defeating enemies.

Using the right combination of classes, you can take out targets with the best of them. Moreover, certain classes can open special doors that grant players extra loot.

The best part is that you don’t have to pay to play. This means you can drop in and out of a 20-30 minute mission with three other players online.

You’ll also be able to level up your character by promoting it to level 20. Once you’ve reached that milestone, you’ll have access to an attribute point, which you can spend on a skill tree. If you choose to make a promotion, you’ll be rewarded with a +1 stat bonus.

As for the loot, you’ll need to deconstruct your weapons and armor to get a look at what’s inside. These pieces of junk can be used to craft new items in the game. However, you can’t simply buy stuff off of the auction house.

As mentioned, there are two multiplayer modes to choose from in Dragon Age: Inquisition. One is the cooperative dungeon-crawling mode that lets you play as three base classes.

The other is the co-op mode, which allows you to control up to 12 characters. There’s a bit of a learning curve here as well, though. Before you can start playing in this mode, you’ll have to ditch your Inquisitor robes.

If you’re interested in playing Dragon Age: Inquisition, you’ll be able to do so in November. A free multiplayer expansion will be available next week, and three new characters will be added with the downloadable content.

When it comes to multiplayer, it’s important to remember that the most interesting things happen when you’re with your team. While you’re completing quests and conquering monsters, you’ll need to keep your teammates in the loop and coordinate your attacks to succeed.

Backstory

Dragon Age Inquisition is a massive game. It’s not only the largest Dragon Age game to date, but also one of the most aesthetically pleasing games on the market. The third installment in the series follows your protagonist from a mass murderer to a leading member of the Inquisition. You’ll need to read up on the game’s backstory to get the most out of it.

Dragon Age Inquisition is set in a medieval-themed continent of Thedas. There are ten large, open world locations to explore. Players can choose to explore these regions in either a third-person or tactical camera. They also have the option of playing co-op.

The first unlocked area is the Hinterlands. This region is made up of a number of dungeons, which take about 20 minutes to complete. Each dungeon has its own unique style and materials used to create its items.

After completing the main storyline, players can continue their journey by exploring the game’s ten additional “open world” areas. Some of these regions feature fog-shrouded castles and mountain-sized sculptures.

Another element of the game that sets it apart from previous titles is its ability to be played in a tactical view. Although there are no major changes to the gameplay, the graphics are more detailed and vibrant in motion. Compared to Dragon Age II, the Dragon Age Inquisition GUI has a greater focus on strategy.

Another element of the game that makes it stand out from its predecessors is its crafting system. Unlike the previous titles, you have a wide variety of options when crafting your gear.

As an added bonus, the game has several romances. These are separated by race, gender, and advisor. For example, Hawke and Varric are romanced, but there’s no Cole or Josephine.

Aside from the main storyline, you can also participate in eight romances. Of these, six are with companions, and two are restricted to gender.

There are three campaign DLCs released for the game. Several of the characters featured in these DLCs have recurring roles. Additionally, there are several new weapons, armor, and other equipment available for you to use.

Lore

If you’re a fan of the Dragon Age series, you know that the game’s lore is rich and complex. But many of the hints and details are limited.

Dragon Age Inquisition is the third game in the series. The story continues the series’ odyssey through the medieval continent of Thedas. This time, the player must decide between competing factions, political powers and religious organizations. It also features more open world locations than Origins.

The player character, the Inquisitor, is the leader of the Inquisition. He controls his companions, as well as the various military factions. Many of the factions are facing external threats, but the majority are internal.

A few of the most important characters include the Inquisitor, Varric, Leliana, and Dorian. There are also several political and military factions.

Each of the factions has a leader and his or her own sidequests. Some of these sidequests are available through the official storyline of the game, while others are found within the “Spoils of the Avvar” and “Spoils of the Qunari” campaign DLCs.

The “Spoils of the Avvar” is a set of new equipment, mounts and schematics. They include a massive explosion that kills those attending the Conclave.

The other set of “Spoils of the Qunari” contains new mounts, equipment and a scavenged map of Qunari regions. These are new items for players to find, but they may not be the last of their kind.

As with the previous games in the series, crafting returns. Players can craft different parts of a final product, which can affect the overall appearance of the item. Unlike the previous games, however, players cannot import save files from previous games.

Despite these alterations, the Dragon Age series is still a very rich and complex game. Players can expect to discover a variety of lore and history surrounding Thedas. Also, there are eight romances to choose from. You will have to make choices that directly influence the plot. These choices will lead to a final build-up against evil.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled to be released in late 2014, originally targeted for a fall release.
